We came here because the combo plates were an okay deal. I didn't realize we were going to order 4 things instead of the more acceptable 2 entrees that 2 adults should order. But hey, yolo. Let's start with the inside. This location used to be a sushi restaurant that was mediocre. No wonder they closed but... I've digressed. It's clean, spacious and friendly enough spot. The restroom was also clean and well stocked. I will say, minus points for no diaper changing table. I can imagine a lot of families would come here because of the hours of operation and the food they offer, so I was surprised a diaper table wasn't available. Let's talk about food. Okay the mackerel was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were great. A squid sashimi salad, pan fried kimchi, jelly side dish, soy bean spouts and pickle side dishes were refreshing and crunchy that complimented the oily fatty fish. The cold noodles reminded me of Yuchun's cold noodles with the red sauce with the soup broth and it just hit so well in this heat. We got Udon and it was good. Standard taste. Nothing special. Beef pancake was actually very good as well. Overall, the idea of a kisasikdang is to offer cheap, affordable, nice large portioned meals. Does this delivery all that? Well, I question the cheap. It's $18.99 for the combo and for a premium combo is $24.99 which comes with more sides. I know Starr Night does something like this for lunch for &11.99, and I'd have to eat their kisa style menu to see if it's comparable in quality and taste. So the real question is, was it good? Actually, yea. It was. My 2 year old son enjoyed it and my Keto only eating husband liked it too (he's the reason why we had to order 4 dishes ). All in all, 4 orders cost us $90 with tip. I wouldn't say it's a great deal, but it was okay. Was it good enough to go back? Yea. I'd give them my hard earned money. Thumbs up for me. We were so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the Udon and the meat pancakes we ordered.

I'm so excited this place opened so close to me! First time there, the food was good, everything was fresh and "comforting". The set price didn't bother me at all. I thought it was fair, since all of the banchans are all you can eat. The service was very good! The staff was attentive and very polite. I ordered the bulgogi alright the image shows I the spicy pork, my dish is across. The bulgogi beef came in a bulgogi broth with glass noodles. The beef and the pork were both very tender. The taste was not overpowering, I enjoyed that about it. Although it was a lot of food I didn't feel sick from it, so many veggies! I'm definitely going back! Everything was very clean, the music was not too loud either. Plenty of seating for large parties as well. A lot of the earlier reviewers were too harsh, everyone is a critic on this app. It's average LA prices as well so I don't know what these other people are complaining about.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I live close by and I've been waiting for a spot like this to open up. Our side of Koreatown is in desperate need of more local, walking distance restaurants. The food is really good and as far as pricing it's fair for what you get. The banchans are refilled for free so you definitely won't leave hungry. I highly recommend the spicy pork! Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The owner (I think it's the owner) is so nice and welcoming. As far as the space itself, it's clean and spacious which I appreciate when I'm eating out. Needless to say I had an excellent time and I think it's a great local spot with no frills food and great service. I will definitely be returning!!

Kisaikdang recently opened in the Koreatown of LA. Great place for lunch. The meal was filling and everything was excellent. Popular with locals, it was definitely Korean cuisine. The banchan was as good as any I have had anywhere. The staff greated me right away and guided me through the menu. Most of their conversations were in Korean with other partons. Open and airy, it was a cool place to eat out of the heat of the day. I may not know the local way to eat the meal but had a great time trying everything.

This has become one of my favorite spots in Koreatown for their delicious Korean dishes and variety of banchans that are continuously changing throughout the week What we ordered: * spicy stir-fried squid dinner portion (comes w/ 7 different banchans, white rice, soup, and veggie wrap) for $23.99 * yooksu bibim nengmyun combo (highly recommend) - includes spicy cold noodle in broth and spicy stir-fried pork (comes w/ 3 diff banchans) - forgot the price * yukjuhn - pan-fried battered beef $20.99 The lunch portion is $18.99 which comes with 5 diff banchans and everything else from the dinner portion The interior is very clean and spacious and they are still working on their menu to add more delicious Korean dishes so you can look forward to that Service was really great too Our server was checking on our table from time to time making sure we were satisfied with the food and if we needed any refills for banchans or drinks I will def be coming back here!

I found out about this place from TikTok! I checked it out because it looked like a place that I would feel comfortable eating by myself at. The concept is apparently that it's the type of restaurant where bus/taxi drivers would stop by to eat their meals in Korea. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was a photo of a man (whom I presume is the owner) with Kim Jongkook from Running Man! There were other photos of the owner with different people, including the US president as well. The interior is very large and modern. It reminds me of an industrial style cafe. They play a lot of Korean music from the 90s and 80s, which is a nice vibe. I ordered the set with spicy pork. It was delicious. One set is definitely very filling. The service is amazing as well. The servers are very attentive. They gave me an extra napkin when they noticed that I had sauce all over my hands. I really enjoyed my experience here!
